This privacy policy sets out how Muzzle Run uses and protects any information that the users of this App give while using this app.  This privacy policy should be read in conjunction with our Terms and Conditions and our NFT License Agreement. The Privacy Policy shall prevail at all times over the Terms and Conditions and the NFT License Agreement. Please read this privacy policy carefully as we will not be held responsible in case there is a breach of this policy on your part. 

 

 

1. GENERAL

a. Muzzle Run is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy in compliance with the relevant privacy laws especially the New Zealand Privacy Act, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and the California Online Privacy Protection Act of 2003 (CalOPPA).  

 

b. If we ask you to provide any information including personal identification, you can be assured that the information will only be used in accordance with this privacy policy.

 

c. Downloading, accessing, or otherwise using this App indicates that you have read this Privacy Policy and consent to its terms. If you do not consent to the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not download, access, or otherwise use this App.  

 

d. The best way to access our App is through a browser compatible with MetaMask. Hence, you agree to consent to Metamask’s Privacy Policy.

 

e. If you are a minor in the jurisdiction in which you reside, you may use this App only with the consent of your parent or legal guardian. We will not be held liable for any cause of action due a breach of this privacy policy. 

 

f.  This privacy policy shall prevail at all times over our Terms and Conditions and our NFT License Agreement.

 

2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

a. We only collect your email address and wallet address (Polygon/Ethereum address) in order to let you use our App. We do not collect any other personally identifiable information.

 

b. We may collect information about your activity in our App or usage history.

 

 

c. We’ve built privacy, end-to-end encryption, and other security features into this App which ensures that your personal information is safely secured in our servers. 

 

 

3. HOW DO WE COLLECT YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

a. We only collect personal information from you directly through this App.  When you visit the App for the first time, you are asked to create your account and provide your login details. This is the primary mechanism through which we collect your personal information.

 

b. We may collect your personal information from other sources such as public databases, social media platforms, joint marketing partners or other third parties.

 

 

4. HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

a. We require your personal identification information to better understand your needs and to provide you with quality service. We may use the information collected through this App for the following:

6. DATA STORAGE AND TRANSFER

a. We store your data on a cloud-based server which may be located in a different country other than the country in which the data was originally collected. Those countries may not have the same data protection laws as the country in which you provided the data.

 

b. Your data will be safely transferred and stored in a cloud-based server. We will undertake best efforts to protect your personal information and to comply with all applicable laws including the laws of the host country where the server is located. 

 

7. DATA SECURITY

a. Your personal information will be stored on Google servers and protected using their Firestore security rules.  

 

b. We are committed to ensuring that your data including personal information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

 

c. Your personal information will remain confidential and apart from us, no one else will be able to access this data.

  

d. Once you delete your account on our App, your personal information will be automatically deleted.

8. COOKIES AND OTHER TECHNOLOGIES 

a. We automatically collect information using “Cookies”. Cookies are small data files stored on your device. Among other things, cookies help us to improve our App, our marketing activities, and the user experience. We use cookies to see which areas and features are popular and to count the number of visitors to our App.

 

b. We use traffic log cookies to identify which pages are being used. This helps us to analyze data about traffic and improve our App in order to serve you better.

 

c. Overall, cookies help us to provide you with a better App by enabling us to monitor which pages you find useful and which you do not. Kindly note that under no circumstance do cookies give us access to your Device or any information about you, other than the data which you choose to share with us.

11.  LINKS TO OTHER WEBSITES & APPS

a. Our App can be accessed only via a browser compatible with MetaMask or other Ethereum-compatible browsers. It is your responsibility to ensure that you adhere to MetaMask’s Privacy Policy or to the privacy policy of the relevant Ethereum-compatible browsers.  

 

b. Notwithstanding the above, our App may contain links to other websites or mobile applications. However, once you leave our App, we have no control over third-party websites and mobile applications. We are not responsible for protecting your privacy on these third-party websites and mobile applications. You should conduct due diligence and carefully read the privacy policies applicable to that website or App in question. 

 

 

12.  COMPLAINT AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION

a. If you have any complaint or concern regarding your personal information under this Privacy Policy, please contact us at comms@muzzle.run. We suggest that you put in the subject line of any email or communication “Privacy Policy” or “Privacy Complaint.”  We will try our best to respond as soon as possible.  

 

b. In the event of any dispute or claim arising out of or relating to the use of your personal information, you will attempt in good faith to negotiate a written resolution of the matter directly with us. If the matter remains unresolved for sixty days after notification (via email, certified mail or personal delivery) that a dispute exists, the parties will attempt to resolve the matter via mediation. The parties shall mutually agree to appoint a mediator.

 

c. Under no circumstance, will the parties resolve the dispute via arbitration, litigation or jury trial except if required by law. 

 

 

13.  CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

a. Our privacy policy is subject to change at any time without notice. Please review this policy periodically to make sure that you are aware about the changes. We will not be held responsible if you are not aware about the recent changes to the policy. The recent changes can be found at the top of this policy.
